Advocate Dinesh Kumar Ghale

Advocate Ghale is a lawyer by profession who belongs to the Ghale Indigenous Peoples of eastern Nepal. He holds MA in Nepali Hisotry, Culture and Archaeology (NeHCA) and Bachelor of law from Tribhuwan University, Kathmandu, Nepal.

He is the founder President of Lila Phang Ghale Samaj– his own Indigenous Peoples Organization and the founder member of Indigenous Student Society–an independent organization of Indigenous Student, and  also has acted as a member of CERD promotion committee

He is serving as  legal advisor for various organizations. He is the one who has been leading the legal litigation process for the justice of affected Indigenous and local communities, and has done several research studies and published articles.

He has been contributing to strengthen Indigenous Peoples rights advocacy since 1995.

Currently, he is serving as Chairman of LAHURNIP.
