The Lawyers’ Association for Human Rights of Nepalese Indigenous Peoples (LAHURNIP) was founded in 1995 by Indigenous lawyers to promote and defend the human rights and freedoms of Indigenous Peoples in Nepal.
Vision
Indigenous Peoples of Nepal fully enjoy their individual, collective, and customary rights, live with dignity and equality, and lead their own development.
Mission
Promote, defend, and advance the rights, freedoms, and interests of Nepalese Indigenous Peoples in accordance with international, national, and customary laws, as well as human rights jurisprudence.
